Belgian Chocolate Sugar
So unbelievably good it should be illegal. If you’re on a diet, stop… stop NOW for the love of everything holy. Once you’ve tasted this, you’ll be lost.
Belgian Chocolate. Renowned worldwide as some of the best quality chocolate on the planet. It’s delicious, its beautiful, it’s versatile. What it’s not, usually, is a sugar. Which is why we decided to take the highest quality chocolate we could find and mix it with our own Vanilla Sugar to make delicious Belgian Chocolate Sugar. We initially designed this sugar as a Donut Sugar. But then we found that it made amazing Icings and Frosting as well.
And then we work out that it was unutterably good when stirred into hot milk as a natural hot chocolate. Since then, we’ve used it in cakes, custards, ice-creams and more. It’s not by any stretch of the imagination ‘good for you’ but it totally falls into the category of ‘Good for the Soul’. As with our other Chocolate Sugars, this one is Gluten-Free and Vegetarian, but it’s not Vegan.
HOW TO USE: Gourmet Belgian Chocolate Sugars And Icing Sugars
These sugars and icing sugars are a fantastic addition to any dish that needs a bit of chocolate goodness.
COFFEE / HOT CHOCOLATE:
Add the sugar to coffee for a delicious Mocha Drink or to Hot Milk for a spectacular, sophisticated Hot Chocolate.
MAIN COURSE / ENTREE:
This sugar is the secret ingredient in many a chilli con carne at Sugar Tree Towers.
There’s not many desserts that won’t be improved by a little bit of chocolate. But in case you’ve never considered it, the possibilities include (but are in no way limited to): Raspberry tarts with chocolate pastry, churros dusted in chocolate sugar, chocolate marshmallows, chocolate cherry clafoutis, chocolate custard tarts… need we go on?
